I think the worst thing to do is to create something because you have to. The thought of reaching a so called "dead line" might be the reason your ideas are even harder to reach. Instead try to do a few things you enjoy first. Take a day or two in which rather than trying to squeeze out ideas for your story try recall activities from the past that you use to enjoy. Maybe re-watch a movie you haven't seen in years but used to love, maybe chat with a person you haven't in awhile that you used to have a good time with and for whatever reasons you stopped texting each other, visit a place or get a drink in a place you used to go to a lot and had good times when you were younger. If you really enjoy writing, by doing old activities and re-finding yourself you will regain your excitement for writing. Maybe write short stories to begin with, other stories inertly. Write for 2 days in a row your activity in the day, what are your thoughts regarding a specific subject you like. Eventually you will remember why you started that story of yours in the first place and what you wanted to achieve by completing it. That should bring new ideas and motivation into carrying on.
From personal experience I know old ideas of stories you started a long time ago will never be identical with the new ones, if you didn't note those ideas down, but they can be better still.
Another thing you can do (depending on what type of story you write) you can reread what you wrote so far and all the notes you made on that, then make a summary (a new fresh review) of your own plot so far. Sometimes that helps to easily get back into the mood of your own story and come up with a few ideas on how things should evolve from there on.
